Primary teachers – sign up for one of our upcoming CPD webinars! These interactive virtual sessions will provide an opportunity to learn about best practice in primary age career related learning from our regional Cornwall project and provide training in how to run virtual sessions with employers and how to use Primary Futures to raise aspirations.


Cornwall Teacher CPD

Wednesday 23rd September, 3.20pm – 4.00pm

As part of our Primary Futures project in Cornwall to support primary schools with raising the aspirations of children through fun career-related learning activities, Primary Futures is running a virtual CPD for Cornwall Primary teachers. The session will explore the aims of the project and types of effective activities, and our virtual offer for connecting schools with a wide range of volunteers. We’ll also be hearing from an employer in Cornwall about the support they provide to schools with careers-related learning.

Teacher CPD Webinar: Running Virtual Sessions

Wednesday 7th October, 3.40pm – 4.20pm

In this session, we will run through the steps to organising virtual career-related learning activities that will inspire and motivate your children. We will be looking at technology, safeguarding and will explain the resources available that will engage volunteers, children and parents for creating a lasting impact.

Teacher CPD Webinar: An Introduction to Primary Futures and our offer

Wednesday 4th November, 3.40pm – 4.20pm

This general CPD session will provide an overview of the Primary Futures service and platform, touching on our internationally recognised research in to the importance of careers-related learning at primary level. We’ll be looking at the different types of effective activities proven to motivate and inspire your children, and explain our virtual offer for connecting schools and volunteers.
